Visitors are welcomed at all of our bird banding research stations. Please contact the station operater/bander prior to your visit.

When do you band? Go to Calendar
What time should we arrive? 
— Spring/Fall Migration: no sooner than 7:00 am
— Saw-whet Owl: 1/2 hour after sunset.
What should I wear? Wear long pants, boots that can get wet.
Is it dangerous. No, unless you get poison ivy.
How long can I stay? Until the posted end time.
Can I help? Yes. However, you must first be trained by an HBRC bander.
What should I bring? Bird book, binoculars, non-deet bug repellent.
Can I hold a bird? No. Photo/Video policy
